Purchased from [[Cloud Forest Flora]] for $17 each (2 plants) on 2025-10-22, along with [[Nepenthes x ventrata x alata|N. x ventrata x alata]]. Order # 1246 My hope is that these two plants will flower more readily than regular N. mirabilis due to the kampotiana genes, while still having strong N. mirabilis morphology. I'll use them to create more hybrids between N. mirabils and intermediate / highland plants. As of 2026-09-16 it only grows slowly as a houseplant. I'll try it in a tent. ## Chronology (reverse) ##### 2025-11-05 Arrived in the mail. ### Plant 1 ##### 2026-09-26 Growing in mix of sphagnum, perlite, and buffered coco husk. ![[N_mirabilispink_x_kampotiana_plant1_2026-09-26.jpg|250]] ### Plant 2 ##### 2026-06-20 Finally potted up (it had been living in its original 2" pot since purchase, bagged the entire time) into 3:2 perlite: buffered coco peat. --- [[Nepenthes I've grown]] | [[Nepenthes]]
