I created at least these 8 hybrids using x splendiana as the mother:
- [[Nepenthes Josefita]]
- [[Nepenthes Los Alamos]]
- [[Nepenthes x splendiana x x mixta]]
- [[Nepenthes x splendiana x vogelii]]
- [[Nepenthes x splendiana x ((maxima x stenophylla) x lowii)]]
- [[Nepenthes x splendiana x (eymae x ephippiata)]]
- [[Nepenthes x splendiana x (lowii x campanulata)]]
- [[Nepenthes x splendiana x (spectabilis x mira)]]

## Plant 1 (original)
By my records, I grew this plant from about 2012-02 till 2018-07, so about 6.5 years.
### Chronology
#### 2012-02-25
Early pitcher not long after acquisition. Indoors, under lights. At this point it's growing in the [[Calcined clay and perlite|calcined clay & perlite mix]]. [[Nepenthes St Lidwina|St. Lidwina]] (x splendiana x ramispina) photobombing in the background.

#### 2012-08-26
Six months later. Growing outdoors for the summer, a few hours of afternoon sun. The peristomes produced a lot of nectar, which often got moldy.

New growing location, one year later. First photo courtsey of [[Mason McNair]]. The plant was enjoying an open-air position on my grow room, with vertical T8 fluorescent lighting + reflective mylar.

Preparing to move to a new residence! x splendiana is the large plant in the foreground. Two and a quarter years since my first photos.

#### 2014-09-07
Four months later, mostly recovered after the move. The plant is now growing in a large window of an old factory building converted into apartments and getting plenty of afternoon sun. Still in 100% inorganic media, which required frequent watering.
Large 8" upper, one of the biggest it ever produced. Fresh, then aged.

Intermediates. I never got many lowers on this plant, probably because the base received too little light.

The root mass growing in [[Calcined clay and perlite|calcined clay & perlite 1:1]] after 4.5 years. About to be repotted into 100% perlite for transitioning to drip irrigation. It would go on to grow in 100% perlite, hydroponically, until 2018-07, so for nearly two years.
