Female, at least somewhat fertile when crossed with [[Nepenthes veitchii|veitchii]]. If I didnt' know better, the uppers might suggest distant [[Nepenthes platychila|platychila]] ancestry. He donated a tray of seedlings to Seattle Central College greenhouse in 2017. As of 2026-07-06, clones A & C are still alive, but clone B eventually succumbed to the heat of Florida summers.
